Good government and political parties depend on informed people willing to
be involved. THAT MEANS ALL OF US have a responsibility to not just to vote,
but to pick and recruit respected leaders and help them get elected to public
office. We need to support them and hold them accountable once in office.
As Americans, we possess inalienable rights that cannot be voted away by the
majority or taken away by government, unless we allow it to happen.
As Benjamin Franklin left the Constitutional Convention in 1787,
a lady asked, “Sir, what have you given us?” Franklin replied “A Republic,
Ma’am, if you can keep it.” Today, many Americans have never worked on
or donated to a political campaign and all but forgotten that ward and town
committees are the basic building block of political parties.

friends, neighbors and concerned citizens supporting Republican candidates
